Imagine... a very small computer you could hang around your shoulder and barely notice it was there.
Imagine... typing on it felt like a dream.
Imagine... a design with an freely-licensed, DIY, hackable ethos which repurposes outmoded yet capable consumer electronics destined for a landfill and turns it into a productive handmade device.
The Atreus Deck is a DIY kit which needs an Atreus keyboard to attach the Deck to, a Samsung Galaxy S5 to act as the core, a soldering iron (with a thin tip) and solder, and strong pliers.
Questions? Read the assembly instructions or try the FAQ.
Shipping is $8 within the US and varies internationally. If you order an Atreus keyboard kit, the two will ship together and you'll only pay for the keyboard shipping.
The Galaxy S5 at the core of the Deck is not included but can usually be found refurbished on eBay for under $100.
If you already have an Atreus and you want to replace the top and bottom plates to match the color of the Deck case, please indicate in the comments field; an extra pair of plates can be included for an additional $10.
